Arabians principally breeds Straight Russian and Russian Related
Horses, though there are other bloodlines as well. Special favorites
are Polish/Crabbet and pure Polish Mares crossed on Russian stallions.
Some of the best foals have come from an *Enoss daughter, NDL
Britannia and a Tornado daughter, HR Gucci Gucci. Britannia is
the dam of Ivory Amulet
by *Mag (shown below) who has been very
successful in the show ring in Open Halter. Sabrina has won with
her in AOTH on many occasions, and expects to continue in the
future. Over the past 9 years, there has been a successful effort
to obtain the finest "older" bloodlines. *Enoss, Tornado,
*Mag, *Muslin, *Monokl, and *Padron frequently appear as recent
sires in the pedigrees, and special attention has been paid to
the dam lines of the mares assuring that all lines of the pedigrees
are equally strong. For example, Magyk is by *Mag out of the *Muscat
daughter Muskaa who is a daughter of the Straight Russian matron
*Nahodka. Mereska is one of *Muslin's last Straight Russian daughters
out of a *Mag daughter and traces in her female line to the Tersk
bred mare, *Parketnaia. Of special note is Gucci who is by Tornado
out of a Tsatyr daughter. Sabrina comments, " It is very
important to make certain that the right horse gets to the right
person for the right purpose. If both the horse and the buyer
are happy, I'm happy."
